Opening Traverse in Emmen ~ 1 juli 2000 ~ Dancing with Cranes

In collaboration with Mobile Arts Center and the town of Emmen Clinch has, along with two crane drivers with mobile cranes of the firm Kramer from Emmen, presented a spectacular opening act.

Review Nieuwsblad van het Noorden, shortened by Clinch

The traverse was opened Saturday in spectacular fashion with a trapeze act.
Following the official opening act by Gerrit Ybema (local politician D66) hovering Gerda and Rob from two huge mobile cranes, a duo trapeze-workers from Groningen, high above the traverse. With a nod to the zoo, and a little imagination Rob and Gerda played two butterflies.
